Thanks for your comment Lannie, since I think it does echo with the thoughts of a number of people. I actually kind of agree, but I think in the end it confirms my point: frameworks are preventing developers to forge their own software design experience, by insulating them in framework-specific recipes, framework-specific solutions to framework-specific problems. As a result, more and more developers are having a hard time designing an app from scratch, or when they try produce bad "spaghetti" code. So it's a chicken-and-egg problem. Either you choose (when you are trusted to) to escape from this trap (which is a dead end to me) and learn how to make gourmet meals (with creativity, quality...) or you are doomed to make ready meals.
